Why Chinese dishes are unhealthy?

Many take-out Chinese restaurants adopted fast-food style

One unfortunate about the Chinese Foods in the United States is that it is more likely a fast-food restaurant rather than what we use to believe in “Cooking is an Art.” They want to serve faster by choosing deep frying instead of steam or boil which is healthier. Sometime, vegetables are lightly deep fried before boiling in chicken broth then stirring with sauce. Steamed vegetables usually take longer time to cook. However, the situation is getting better, you may request not to fry the foods when you order, and there are also many items on the menus are healthy.

Feedback

The study from CSPI does point out facts about some of the unhealthy aspects of the food sold in Chinese take-out restaurant. However, it seem like many people would categorized Chinese Foods are unhealthy at all after reading the news about the report, and also it ignored the cultural aspects of how Chinese people eat their foods. Chinese foods can certainly be healthy if you eat correctly. In addition, many Chinese Restaurants are offering healthier dishes in their menu.
